Japan have been drawn into Group F of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside Netherlands, Sweden, Tunisia. The group stage takes place from June 11 to late June 2026, with matches played across 16 venues in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The 2026 World Cup features 48 teams for the first time โ expanded from 32. The top two from each group, plus the eight best third-placed teams, advance to the Round of 32. This means more teams than ever have a path to the knockout stage.
